Ms Sarah King

Consultant Solicitor

Sarah has worked in criminal defence for almost 10 years and is renowned for her excellent client care and passionate approach to litigation. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2014 and gained her duty accreditation shortly thereafter.

Sarah is an advocate in the Magistrates’ and Youth Courts and regularly attends the police station to assist detained persons for a variety of offences at all times of the day and night. Her extensive knowledge of law and procedure enables her to provide first class advice and has led to acquittals in high profile cases.

Prior to joining Kingsbury Ellis at the head of our Magistrates Court Department, Sarah worked for a large North London firm where she was named as a Recommended Lawyer by the Legal 500.

Sarah was head of the Crown Court team and supervised a number of Solicitors and Paralegals.

She has extensive experience litigating complex and serious cases including murder, kidnap, armed robbery, violent disorder and conspiracies to supply drugs and firearms.

She has managed serious fraud cases centred around multi-million pound money laundering allegations together with cross border and international frauds.

Sarah achieves consistently good results and is regularly recommended by her past and present clients.

She is able to deal with difficult cases involving vulnerable defendants and those with mental health difficulties. Sarah never fails to ensure her clients understand the case against them, her ability to adapt her advice is enviable.

After working alongside Sarah in a murder trial one leading QC said “In my 37 years of practice this is the first time I have witnessed this level of commitment from a legal representative.

Ms Marianna Christou

Consultant Solicitor

Marianna joined Kingsbury Ellis Solicitors in October 2022 as a consultant solicitor, having previously worked at a variety of busy solicitor's firms in London.

She has experience across a broad range of criminal matters including fraud, murder, firearms, drugs supply and serious violence.

Marianna is a persuasive advocate and regularly attends the Magistrates’ and Youth Courts, providing excellent client care. She is committed to giving a voice to her clients and takes a holistic approach in her preparation of their defence.

Allegations of fraud require a clear strategy from the outset.
